Chicago, IL - Lincoln Square Universities & College Degree Programs
Lincoln Square is a largely residential neighborhood on Chicago's northern edge, seven miles from the Loop. Originally an agricultural area, Lincoln Park increased in population when a railway was built connecting it to downtown Chicago at the turn of the 20th century. The neighborhood continued to grow as a residential community, and after World War II an outdoor shopping mall was developed at the town center. The area is served by several public and private schools, and Chicago's colleges and universities are a short commute away. Lincoln Square is a relatively affordable way to live in a safe, family-oriented Chicago neighborhood.| » Illinois Colleges: Quick Search | » Featured School | |||
